วันอังคารที่ 26 พฤศจิกายน 2567 เวลา 14.00 นาฬิกา ณ ห้องรับรองพิเศษ 205 ชั้น 2 อาคารรัฐสภา นายพิเชษฐ์  เชื้อเมืองพาน รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎร คนที่หนึ่ง ให้การรับรอง ดร. สุลต่าน อาซัม  เทมูริ (Dr. Sultan  Azam  Temuri) ประธานสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (United Peace Keepers Federal Council-UNPKFC) ,ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ประธานสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ สำนักงานใหญ่ ประเทศไทย (UNPKFC -HQ,Thailand) ,นางสาวรังษิมา ทองพันชั่ง ผู้อำนวยการสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ UNPKFC  ประจำประเทศไทยและ คณะผู้นำจากนานาชาติ รวมถึงคณะยุวทูตเพื่อสันติภาพ ประมาณ 100 คน ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนไทยเพื่อเข้าร่วมการประชุมสุดยอดผู้นำโลก Global Leadership Summit 2024 (GLS2024) ในหัวข้อ “Fit for the Future, Building Better Together” ระหว่างวันที่ 24 - 25 พฤศจิกายน 2567 ณ หอประชุมกองทัพอากาศไทย กรุงเทพมหานคร  

โอกาสนี้ได้นำคณะเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะและเข้าเยี่ยมชมรัฐสภาไทย โดยมี นางสาวพิชชา เชื้อเมืองพาน ที่ปรึกษารองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎร คนที่หนึ่ง (กิตติมศักดิ์) นายนพดล แก้วสุพัฒน์ อดีตสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร จังหวัดนนทบุรี และนายอาพล นันทขว้าง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ ร่วมให้การรับรอง

รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎร คนที่หนึ่ง กล่าวแสดงความยินดีที่สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพได้เดินทางมาเยือนรัฐสภา และแสดงความยินดีที่สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ UNPKFC ที่เป็นเจ้าภาพหลักในการจัดงานประชุมสุดยอดผู้นำโลก 2567 (GLS 2024) สำเร็จลุล่วงด้วยดี รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎรฯ เห็นถึงความเหมาะสมอย่างยิ่งที่ UNPKFC มีสำนักงานใหญ่ ณ กรุงเทพฯ เนื่องจากประเทศไทยมีนโยบายกลาง เป็นมิตรกับทุกประเทศ และรักสันติภาพ ทั้งนี้ โดยทำเลที่ตั้งทางภูมิศาสตร์ของไทย ไทยจึงเป็นศูนย์กลางของอาเซียน และไทยยังมีชื่อเสียงในด้านการท่องเที่ยว รวมถึงความเป็นมิตรของคนไทย ทั้งนี้ รัฐบาลไทยมีนโยบายเปิดประเทศต้อนรับทุกประเทศที่เดินทางเข้ามา ทำให้ในแต่ละปีมีนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติเดินทางมาเยือนไทยปีละประมาณ 40 ล้านคน ในการนี้ รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎรฯ ยังได้ชื่นชมอุดมการณ์การทำงานเพื่อสาธารณะรวมถึงความเสียสละของ UNPKFC และรัฐสภาไทยยินดีให้การสนับสนุนการทำงานของ UNPKFC เพื่อให้เกิดสันติภาพในภูมิภาคและทั่วโลก

ด้านประธานสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) ได้กล่าวขอบคุณรองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎร ฯ ที่ได้ให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น และได้ชี้แจงการทำงานของ UNPKFC ว่าเป็นองค์กรระหว่างประเทศที่ไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร (NGO) มุ่งเน้นการทำงานร่วมกับองค์กรต่าง ๆ เพื่อสนับสนุนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนของสหประชาชาติ (UN SDGs) โดยมีจุดเน้นหลักในเรื่องของสันติภาพ ความยุติธรรม ความเสมอภาค และการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสันติในระดับโลก ซึ่งคณะกรรมการบริหารและสมาชิกทั้งในและต่างประเทศประกอบด้วยบุคคลจากหลากหลายกลุ่ม ทั้งนี้ UNPKFC มีสํานักงานใหญ่อยู่ที่ประเทศไทย โดยทำงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานรัฐบาลต่าง ๆ ของไทย และยังทำงานร่วมกับสหประชาชาติอีกด้วย UNPKFC มีการจัดการประชุมสุดยอดผู้นำโลก Global Leadership Summit (GLS) เป็นประจำทุกปี และล่าสุดได้จัดประชุมในประเทศไทยไปเมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน ที่ผ่านมา 

นอกจากนั้น ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ยังได้กล่าวรายงานเพิ่มเติมว่า งานประชุมสุดยอดผู้นำโลก Global Leadership Summit 2024 เกิดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องมาหลายปี  โดย สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพUNPKFC  โดยความร่วมมือระหว่าง  สมาคมสหประชาชาติแห่งโคเซลลา แวลลีย์ มลรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา (UNA-USA),ศูนย์อวกาศหิมาลายัน Himalayan Space Centre, ราชสมาคมเซนต์จอร์จ โดยพระบรมราชานุญาตของสมเด็จพระเจ้าชาร์ลส์ที่2 แห่งประเทศอังกฤษ สาขาแคลิฟอร์เนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา (Royal Society of St. George, California Branch), Adventure of Humanity ก่อตั้งโดยไมเคิลแจ็คสัน และเนลสัน แมนดาลา ,ศูนย์อวกาศหิมาลายัน, สมาคมสหประชาติเยอรมัน (UNA-Germany) และภาคีเครือข่ายนานาชาติจิตอาสา เป็นผู้ร่วมจัดงานประชุมสุดยอดผู้นำโลก Global Leadership Summit 2024 (GLS2024) และ เมื่อวันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน 2567 ได้จัดอบรมโครงการ Global Space Leadership Program(โครงการผู้นำอวกาศโลก) ยังได้มอบโอกาสให้เยาวชนเข้าถึงอวกาศ อบรมฟรีโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ซึ่งเยาวชนไทยได้ที่เข้าร่วมอบรมหลักสูตรของโครงการ จบหลักสูตรระยะสั้นรวมแล้วมากกว่า 3,500 คน และจะยังพัฒนาหลักสูตร และเพิ่มพันธมิตรเครือข่ายให้มากขึ้น และยังได้เชิญชวนทางรัฐสภาให้มีส่วนร่วมในการผลักดันโอกาสให้เข้าถึงการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพอย่างเท่าเทียม ซึ่งได้รับการตอบรับที่ดี ในการมีส่วนร่วมจากรัฐสภาไทย

His Excellency Wan Muhammad Nor Matha, Speaker of the National Assembly, assigned the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives to officially welcome the President of the United  Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) and their delegation on the occasion of their visit to Thailand to attend the Global Leadership Summit 2024 (GLS2024).

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM, in Special Reception Room 205, 2nd floor of the Parliament Building, Mr. Phichet Cheamuangphan, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, welcomed Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri, Global Chairman of the United Peacekeepers Federal Council (UNPKFC), Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of UNPKFC Headquarters in Thailand, Miss Rangsima Thongpunchung, Country Director of UNPKFC in Thailand, and about 100 international leaders, including UNPKFC Young Peace Ambassadors, who were visiting Thailand to attend the GLS2024 under the theme "Fit for the Future, Building Better Together," held from November 24-25, 2024, at the Royal Thai Air Force Auditorium in Bangkok,Thailand.

On this occasion, the delegation visited the Thai Parliament, where they were warmly welcomed by H.E. Pitcha Cheamuangphan, Advisor to the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (honorary), Mr. Nopadol Kaewsupat, Former Member of the House of Representatives for Nonthaburi Province, and Mr. Arpol Nantakwang, Director of the International Relations Office.

The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives expressed congratulations on the visit of the UNPKFC and commended the success of the GLS2024, which was hosted by UNPKFC. He highlighted that Thailand, with its neutral policy and commitment to peace, was the ideal location for the UNPKFC headquarters. Thailand's central geographical position in ASEAN and its reputation for tourism and the friendliness of its people were also recognized. Additionally, the Thai government has a policy of welcoming all nations, with around 40 million international visitors annually. He also praised the UNPKFC's dedication to public service and its efforts to promote peace in the region and globally, with the Thai Parliament pledging its support.

The President of the UNPKFC thanked the First Deputy Speaker for the warm welcome and explained that UNPKFC is an international non-profit organization (NGO) working in collaboration with various organizations to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), focusing on peace, justice, equality, and peaceful coexistence worldwide. The organization’s executive board and members, both domestic and international, are composed of people from diverse groups. UNPKFC’s headquarters is located in Thailand, where it works with the Thai government and the United Nations.

Furthermore, Dr. Aphinita Chaichana provided additional information on the ongoing Global Leadership Summit (GLS) series, which has been held annually by the UNPKFC. The most recent summit took place in Thailand on November 24, 2024. She also mentioned the collaboration of various international organizations in hosting the GLS2024, including the UNA-USA, Himalayan Space Center, Royal Society of St. George (California Branch), Adventure of Humanity, UNA-Germany, and other international volunteer networks.

Additionally, on November 25, 2024, a training session for the Global Space Leadership Program (GSLP) was held, providing youth with opportunities to access space education for free. Over 3,500 Thai youth have completed short courses in the program, and more courses will be developed with additional partnerships. The UNPKFC invited the Thai Parliament to support efforts to provide equal access to quality education, which was well-received.
